A kick-off meeting was held on the 8th of August 2016 at the ZAMCOM Secretariat in Harare, Zimbabwe. The kickoff meeting introduced the parties, their roles and responsibilities. The meeting successfully established the communication and reporting procedures for the project. The key outcomes of the meeting included a common understanding of the contract obligations; roles and responsibilities derived from the contract documents; expectations of the parties; project timeframe; the potential constraints in the implementation of the project; and the risk mitigation strategies.
